ABC's for the Perfect Handmade Holiday

Stampin' Up New Punch Design

LOVE IT!

These have been out for awhile but I thought I'd show you anyway!

New Punch Design

Starting with the new 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and continuing with all new punch designs going forward, Stampin' Up! has adopted a new body style for our punches!

A few features of the new punch style:
  • Low-profile, rectangular punch body allows for easier stacking and storing
  • Punches lock shut for easier storage and transport
  • Dual labels on top and end allow for easy identification and selection when stored
  • Available in three sizes: small, medium, and extra-large
  • New punches allow for larger punched images and more intricate designs while providing greater ease of use.
    • Extra -large punch images also allow for two-step designs like the Two-Step Bird punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog
  • Corner punches allow you to punch a corner design along the inside edges of a page, not just corners
  • larger, whole-hand handle design provides better leverage for easier use
  • Available in an exclusive Stampin' Up! color
Part of Stampin' Up!'s commitment to providing demonstrators and customers with the very best crafting tools includes the belief in what we call continuous improvement. Essentially what this means is that even if something works very well, but we see a chance to improve it, we will work to make it even better. While new punch designs will be in the new body style, existing designs will remain in the existing body style for now. We will communicate any further changes as those decisions are made.

.        Dimensional's (#104430)
.        Blender Pen (#122129)
.        Small hole punch

Take  the 4 1/4" x 11" whisper white  CS and score at 2 1/8" then at 4 1/4"
Use Garden Green CS with Top Note Die and Bigshot Machine, this goes on front.
Cut 2 pieces of the Candy Cane Christmas Design Series Paper into 4 1/4" x 51/2" (I used 1 piece for inside of card and 1 piece for front  'Candy Canes/Stripes').
Adhere 1 DPS to inside of card and the other piece to bottom half of front of card only to score line.
Use Stamps to decorate front, and place greeting on the 1" x 5 1/2" piece placed in middle of inside bottom of card. Use dimensional's to adhere the 1" x 5 1/2" piece.  The dimensional's will hold the front of card in place to make the easel!
Next, punch 2 holes in bottom of Top Note Die Cut just above the point close together, take ribbon and thread through holes from front, turn over and put tails of ribbon back through the opposite holes and this makes your bow.  Trim as needed!
Take the 2 way glue pen and place some glue around your stamped design after you color it in and sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds onto glue for a shimmery, glittery effect!  TA-DA.....ALL DONE

Hi Crafters,

Here's the 'List', a little later than I thought but here none the less!  I have pictures to go along and I will post the instructions every other day for one project plus a PDF templates for some of the projects to help.
All projects were made with Stampin' Up products. I used one set of Designer Series Paper  called "Candy Cane Christmas" (#120809) ($11.95) and a few pieces of Whisper White, Real Red, Garden Green and Blushing Bride.  I used two sets of stamps called "Bells & Boughs" (set of 4 - $14.95) and "Heard from the Heart" greetings (set of 4 - $16.95). I wanted to use as little as possible to show what can be done if you only have a limited supply of products!  Also, I made the one gift box using the papers in "My Digital Studio".  If you run low on product, you can print out a design or card with this software program!  Believe me, it comes in very handy for a quick card of any sort!

Hope you enjoy these projects and they help you out!  I had a blast making them! LOL
